REFUND POLICY

The policy of the OLYMPIA UNITED SOCCER CLUB is to issue no refunds after a child has played in a sanctioned game. Prior to playing in a sanctioned game a refund of the registration fee less an administrative handling fee will be issued.

PRIVACY POLICY

OLYMPIA UNITED SOCCER CLUB only collects personal information when you request our services and only uses the information collected to provide those services for you. If you choose to make a purchase, you will be asked to provide contact information (such as your name and shipping address) and financial information (such as your credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process your order. OLYMPIA UNITED SOCCER CLUB handles all of this data with the utmost confidentiality.

THIRD PARTIESAny personal information provided will not be traded, rented, sold or otherwise shared with anyone outside of OLYMPIA UNITED SOCCER CLUB, or used for reasons beyond those contemplated in this statement. From time to time, we may engage third parties to process your information on our behalf; however, none of OLYMPIA UNITED SOCCER CLUB affiliates (such as our credit card company) have permission to retain, share, store or use personal information for any reason other than providing the requested service.

SECURITY

To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure and improper use of your information, we have established appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect the information we collect in accordance with our privacy policy.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet." (etc.)

Furthermore, your credit card number, expiration date and CSV code is never stored in our systems.

Our systems are routinely scanned by a third party provider for security vulnerabilities in compliance with the policies of VISA / MASTERCARD.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN USER AND OLYMPIA UNITED SOCCER CLUB

Returning players are guaranteed their spaces back onto their teams provided they register and pay before the returning player deadline given for that season.

A returning player is defined as a player having registered and played for the team during the last season that the team played.  Summer is a stand alone season and rosters will not be used in consideration for returning players.  

Only players returning to teams shall be placed onto rosters up and until the registration deadline.  However, ALL players should register immediately when registration opens.

After the registration deadline designated for returning players has passed, openings on teams will be filled in the order in which players have registered.

Rosters will be filled to the roster maximum unless there are not enough unassigned players registered as of the registration deadline.

If a team has openings after all returning and unassigned players have been placed and rosters are set, coaches may add players to their rosters by contacting the club's manager.

In the spirit of recreation soccer, a coach may not "save" or "promise" a space on their team to any player.

If a player wishes to join a team, coaches should ask that player to register on the first day of registration and request their team.  This is not a guarantee that the player will get a space of that team, but it gives that player the best chance at filling an open roster spot.

Players are allowed to play "up" in age division by one year with approval from the coach. Players are not allowed to play "down".  Exceptions to this are only with an approved medical waiver from Washington Youth Soccer. 

Girls are permitted to play on boys’ teams.  Boys are not permitted to play on girls’ teams with the following exception - all players should have the opportunity to participate on an Olympia United team in a manner that is consistent with their gender identity, irrespective of the gender on the player’s records.

The club reserves the right to overload a roster when necessary to in order to get players onto teams. 

All teams may be overloaded in summer, and all players may participate in all games during summer season. 

OUSC reserves the right to remove any player from a team.
